Back to the grind

Both Jeremy and I did pretty horribly this weekend. On Saturday I made hot wings, mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake (For Jeremy's Birthday) and we had ice cream with it. Then, of course, on Sunday we had leftovers.

It's amazing how terrible overeating feels after having done this cleanse. The taste is so delicious, but the feeling of being stuffed isn't fun. We're slipping back into bad habits, so this is the vow: no more buying junk. At least until we reach our goal weights.

I'm taking the leftover cake to work with me tonight, and Jeremy took our leftover chips to work with him this morning. We've still got the little bit of ice cream and some goldfish crackers, and we kept the tortilla chips for salsa, but let the healthy eating begin again. I even took the leftover chicken wings and made a chicken veggie soup out of it. I think this week, I'm going to try and keep primarily on a fruit/veggie diet. I'll have yogurt or cereal for breakfast, and maybe a light soup for lunch, but primarily fruits and veggies.

Another goal is to get my abs back into shape by starting pilates again, and I'm going to go to the gym at least 5 days before this time next week.
